SHC2025 Final in Emmen

The SHC2025 Finals took place in Emmen LU this year, where the top 10 juniors and top 10 seniors of the Swiss Hacking Challenge 2025 qualifier competed against each other to win prizes, and ultimatively get selected into the ECSC Team Switzerland, that will get to compete at the European Cyber Security Challenge 2025 in Warsaw in October.
For two days, the finalists met at Startklar in Emmen. On the first day, the players got assigned to a team and had to compete in a jeopardy CTF.
On the second day, the participants could relax a bit, talk to the others that qualified and got assigned specific topics that they needed to draw. Once completed, the painting was passed to the next person in the group, that then had to draw something else onto the existing picture.
Team Havoc has won the finals with 4712 points, followed by Team Zephyr and Team Axon that shared 3840 points and had a tie break based on the last submission time. Last but not least, Team Genesis reached 2968 points! The teams definetly didn’t have it easy, as even the medium rated challenges were all but medium in difficulty.
